News Article: Payment facility for credit and debit cards
13 August 2004 - Now accepting payments from all popular UK credit and debit cards.
We're pleased to announce that we're now able to accept payments via
credit and debit cards once again.
Having discontinued our payment facility with our previous processor
for operational reasons, we understood that many of our customers
appreciate the convenicence of this payment method so we spent some
time researching alternatives.
We've now integrated with the payment systems provided by
WorldPay,
owned by Royal Bank of Scotland they are one of the largest and well
known merchant providers.
Another important consideration for the change was to extend the range
of card types we can now accept, and we can now include some of the popular
UK debit cards as well.
We can take payment from the following cards:
MasterCard
VISA
VISA Delta
VISA Electron
JCB
Solo
Switch
Upgrades to support some of the newer verification systems such as
Verified by Visa (VbyV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MCSC) are planned
by WorldPay for later in the year.
