INTERXION LONDON
Interxion was formed in 1998 and has 20 data centre facilities across 11
countries.
Interxion are one of few data centre providers to achieve
SunTone certification, ensuring quality
and performance standards for their facility and services.
Power: building power is supplied via local power company feeds and
backed up with UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) and diesel generator
backup. Diesel generators are kept pre-warmed for fast startup, with
16 hours minimum backup, and fulfillment with multiple suppliers for
prolonged diesel supply. Dual individually breakered power feeds are
supplied to each rack cabinet.
Fire Protection: building fit out includes VESDA (early warning smoke
detection), fire-retarding walls (F60) and Argon gas fire extinguishing
system.
Security: building manned with 24/7/365 on-site security and CCTV with
video archiving. Access permitted only to authorised staff and
registered customer staff with photo ID. Internal access to
designated floors and rooms restricted via proximity access card (PAC).
European Service Centre: the ESC is manned 24/7/365 and provides
support and monitoring for all Interxion facility operations
worldwide.
